Letting Go of a Paradigm that Doesn’t Work

Letting Go of a Paradigm that Doesn’t Work

By Steve Beckow

I had occasion recently to reflect on the differences between the academic world as I knew it when I left it in 1987, after my vision of the purpose of life, (1) and my own perspective, as it had been informed up to that time by experiences, reading, travel, etc.

Most of us alive at the time did not see, but tacitly accepted, that all that was real was what we could experience or know from our senses.  Philosophically, this viewpoint is called “empirical materialism.”

“Ghosts” are not real so, my earthly Mother, please stop trying to communicate with me. I’ll catch up with you later.

Anything invisible is not real so, Archangel Michael, back in the closet.  Divine Mother? Universal Logos? Hocus pocus!

Purpose to life? Only what you give it.  Otherwise, we live; we die. That’s it. Anything more is wish fulfilment.

Since the invisibles are not real, their role in terrestrial affairs and the lives of all of us is not real. Ascension is a fantasy. Having guides is our imagination working overtime. There’s no Divine Plan for this age or for life that we’re all acting out.

Life became a shoe that didn’t fit. I was constantly chafed at having to wear it ever since, ten years earlier, I had had an out-of-body experience, which shattered for me my misunderstandings about life and death. Now being shown the purpose of life was the last straw.

My existing paradigms didn’t fit with anything I’d experienced outside my body or in subsequent events. That was like a burr in my shoe.

I was being asked to deny my experience and make my studies fit with the prevailing paradigm. I wouldn’t do it. I didn’t do it.

You’ve only to visit the Downloads Page to view the reports on what I discovered after leaving academia and pursuing enlightenment.

***

Higher-dimensional spaces and beings cannot be detected with our lower-dimensional senses.

Moreover, we may “die” on this plane of existence, but, in fact, we simply rise up from our now-dead or dying body and meet our guides who begin our wider journey with us.

This all having been established, I’m free to investigate … well, what is that other life like? Which produced New Maps of Heaven. Having looked at that, my attention was then drawn to Ascension through a discussion with a friend, Len Satov, a year later. That led to the starting of the 2012 Scenario, this blog’s original form. And more databases.

Another year after that, I had a lucid dream of my twin flame. I sought out a channel, Linda Dillon, and spoke with my twin flame Annastara. At a second reading, I was told that someone wanted to talk to me. That began ten-years of readings with Archangel Michael, which changed my life.

All of this, if told to a firm adherent of empirical materialism, would earn a skeptical grin and a cool shoulder.

In the end, I’m not leaving people behind, but I’m surely leaving a paradigm behind.

I do find that at a very deep level I still buy some elements of it. But the more I love – that is, the more I breathe love up from my heart and allow it to revive me – the less trauma-born paradigms that govern behavior (automatic programming, habitual tendencies) have a hold on me. (2)

For a while longer, the rest of the world may snicker at our star family, angels, Divine Plan, etc., but the growth that I’ve experienced since starting out, inspired by channeled literature and readings with AAM, satisfies me entirely.

It’s an experience unto itself to be writing about a reality that most people in the world might smile or snicker at. But again, the experience of transformative love, only available to those who recognize it as existing, more than compensates.

Can you imagine a whole world smiling that deep smile at each other that says that they get it; they know what love is?

After the Ring of Fire or after Ascension, everyone will have what they’ve always wanted and probably didn’t know it – a deep form of all-fulfilling love that comes freely delivered to our very own doorstep – to our very own heart.  All paradigms that I’m aware of are superseded by the experience of that love.

I’m not a Dreamer. I’m a Realist

I’m not a Dreamer. I’m a Realist

Woo-woo

I wrote an article intended for “global” consumption and quoted Matthew Ward in it. I immediately felt a cold chill go through my body.

Matthew Ward? Isn’t he a spook? You talking to spooks?

I’d just opened myself to the charge of being woo-woo. Remember that one?

I’ve allowed myself to be led around by the nose by my fear of ridicule.  I now want to get off that carousel too. (1)

Let me give the background to the ridicule.

The use of ridicule to control was originally recommended by the Robertson Panel of 1952-3, answering CIA concerns, on how to control the narrative around UFOs. The Panel recommended “debunking” sightings of UFOs.

“The “debunking” aim would result in reduction in public interest in “flying saucers” which today evokes a strong psychological reaction. This education could be accomplished by mass media such as television, motion pictures, and popular articles. (2)

This became the foundation for the CIA policy of ridiculing those who departed from the official narrative.

***

This particular instance of ridicule is based on the premise that the philosophy called empirical materialism is true. And nothing else is.

Empirical materialism regards as real only what can be seen, heard, touched – that is, detected by the physical senses.

Well, of course, higher dimensions cannot be so detected. Yes, higher-dimensional beings can lower their vibrations to be seen but not the dimension they came from. (And there are exceptions to everything.)

The mockingbird press ridicules any reference to anything not empirically verifiable – extraterrestrial civilizations, ascended masters, archangels, Mother/Father God. That makes for a very small world. This world, being Third Dimensional, is already small enough, dense, and difficult.

Through our far of ridicule, we allow ourselves to be kept in the dark, fed a controlled narrative. We’re all of us in The Truman Show.

***

One of the charges leveled against us who believe in a wider Reality is that we’re dreamers.

I object. I think we’re the realists and the empiricists are the dreamers. Lost in the illusion, to be specific.

Time for empiricists to move beyond the merely physical, which is apparently the lowest dimension we’ll know, and accept the reality of a much wider world than we’ve ever dreamed of. Or be left behind. (3)

It’s a much bigger world than can be contained in empirical philosophy.

We’re not the dreamers. We’re the realists here. We’re arguing for a Reality that includes all this – and much, much more.

Events will soon make that Reality crystal clear in black and white and green and gold….

The Human Process

The Human Process

By Steve Beckow

Living the dream. Credit: Dreamtime

I once suggested that the human process was “I needa to bea; I gotta but it’s notta.” (1)

I still hold to that formula.

The longing for liberation, which I’ve discussed elsewhere, (2) leaves us wanting, hankering at a low level of vibration: I needa to bea.

We try to fill it with houses and yachts and cars and vacations, but still the longing persists (I gotta but it’s notta).

The way life is designed, nothing can fill that longing for God but God.

Some people try to fill that void, that longing with money, sex, and power.

Everyone who’s looked to money for happiness has been disappointed. What the Beatles sang long ago remains true:

“Say you don’t need no diamond ring and I’ll be satisfied
Tell me that you want the kind of thing that money just can’t buy
I don’t care too much for money, money can’t buy me love.”

What we want, if we were to use a spiritual magnifying glass, we’d find to be that same love and the other divine states. These cannot be bought.

Moreover, the best human experience has to offer – orgasm in sex – is like a candle compared to the enjoyment of bliss and ecstacy.

And power … the Divine Mother had this to say about that:

Divine Mother: It is painful for a being that seeks power for themselves or power over another, whether it is a parent over a child, a husband over a wife, a man over an army. It matters not. The yearning [for], the exercise of control never gives joy. The pain simply grows. And so the actions become more grotesque, larger, until the breakdown is and has [been] and will be occurring. (2)

We become what Buddhists call “hungry ghosts,” going from incarnation to incarnation seeking worldly objects and experiences, which don’t satisfy for long.

Supposing we’re powerful and rich and attractive, all of which we’ve gained pale for us when the longing for liberation arises again and keep us moving forward in quest of … we know not what.

But all the while our support team (our guides, archangel, and the Mother) draws us onward.

They may give us an experience of a divine state and, when they do, it reveals itself as so much more satisfying than any worldly thing. At that point we tend to drop our worldly aspirations and seek more of what we’ve just been shown – love, joy, bliss, peace, etc.

Now, exactly when we’ve found something truly valuable and desirable and let go of our attachment to money and power, we now become much more useful in working with them!

Whether we acknowledge the workings of the divine mechanisms, they steer us just the same, always in the direction. of God, godliness, the divine states, etc.

It’s a wonderful day when we discover that, when we long for God, we enter into the very states that we sought out by pursuing money, sex, and power. We feel entirely satisfied. We experience states that unfold deeper and deeper – without any relationship to money, sex, and power.

And life proceeds by our responding to the longing with one plan, one effort after another falling short, after which we try again. Until at last our efforts hit upon the jackpot – a confirming spiritual experience – or the Divine Mother rewards our efforts with a taste of the divine states.

And all of it a leela – a divine play – the goal of which is that God should meet God in a moment of our enlightenment. (3)

When we relax into the way the stream of life flows, we end up satisfied, fulfilled, grateful. Anything less does not satisfy or fulfill.

Sometimes it takes lifetimes of trial and error to see the way it all works.  And sometimes we’re shown it all in a flash. (4)

(4) Archangel Michael acknowledges that he does and will inspire financial stewards.  This is an example of being shown it all in a flash:

Archangel Michael: One of the things we do is we also plant the longer view, so that a person who is involved in a highly complex situation — which this is, by the way; because it is not just about money; it is not just about currency; it is about values — in key people we will plant the longer view.

We will inspire, if you wish to use that word, the longer view so that they have, like a flash of lightning, the understanding and all the steps to what can be accomplished many steps out if they simply do A, B, C and D.
