Prolotheos: “Evolutionary religions are prone to create superstitions, myths, legends and fables. Although they are evolutionary creations, they are capable of expressing an ill-informed, but authentic spiritual faith. The facts may be wrong and useless, but the spiritual experiences they convey are of universal value because by faith, they make the transcendental leap from the circumscribed material sense to the spiritual dimension. True, this embryonic faith springs from evolution, however, because it is also transcendental, this evolution becomes a spiritual evolution, that starts in the beings’ native world and continues progressing to and through the morontia worlds on High. How does this faith progress from myths, legends, and fables to the robust faith of those who acknowledge themselves as children of the Universal Father and members of the human brotherhood?

1. Spiritual Agencies: “Human beings were never without spiritual assistance since the acquisition of personality. The spirits adjutants crown their earlier work over even the animal state with the functioning of the spirit of worship and the spirit of wisdom. At that point also began the ministry of the guardian angels, first to groups, then to individuals after the conquest of the third psychic circle, even enabling individuals to belong to the planetary reserve corps. Not only angelic beings assisted human beings in their early ages, but also other beings too as the Melchizedeks, which are of record on Urantia to have ministered to primitive man and later on in Abraham’s days. Those kinds of spiritual agencies still work today on your planet, in greater numbers and in the most efficient manner.

2. Spiritual Dispensations: “When human beings reach relative stages of biological, social, and spiritual maturity, the local universe sends its Sons to inaugurate a new spiritual dispensation. That occurred on Urantia on two occasions: with the coming of Caligastia as the Planetary Prince, as a civilizer ministry of Adam and Eve, as racial uplifters. Although these two dispensations were tragically miscarried and did thwart their otherwise normal and salutary effects, they were not a complete loss, and their limited benefits, especially on their cultural contribution to the formation of a civilization tinged with vestiges of their original religiosity. These vestiges are still present in today’s Urantia religions.

3. Spiritual Bestowals: “A Spiritual Bestowal in the local universe is a spiritual gift given to a planet. When Christ Michael decided to finish His Bestowal Program to acquire total sovereignty over His Universe He chose to do this on Urantia, as Jesus of Nazareth. That unscheduled, but most beneficial bestowal on your planet became the greatest spiritual influence not so for Urantia, but also for a whole on-looking universe. From that sprang two other important spiritual bestowals: the coming of the Spirit of Truth and the general outpouring of the Thought Adjusters. Those bestowals are currently also supported by two other universe initiatives: the 5th Epochal Revelation, the Urantia Papers, and the installation of the Correction Time, under the supervision of the now Prince Machiventa.

“Therefore, my pupil, faith progresses on a planet according to a series of spiritual interventions that start with the gift of personality and matures through spiritual agencies, dispensations, and bestowals. Of those, the most important being the Final Sovereignty Bestowal of Christ Michael with its unparalleled spiritual benefit superbly supported by the ministry of the Spirit of Truth and the Thought Adjusters pouring out over all normal Urantians, causing an unprecedented spiritual progress on Urantia for the last nearly 2000 years, although still dealing with retarding effects of the Lucifer Rebellion. Prolotheos: “Once you become familiar with the truths of higher revelation from the Urantia Papers that were brought to your world, it is quite normal that as a consequence your aspirations will also become highly enhanced. Mankind has already evolved to a level your ancestors could never have imagined. Although there is not much more physical evolution to be expected, evolution is still at work concerning your senses and there is much evolution ahead related to technology, society and spirituality.

“Material Progress — You on Urantia are now ushered into the so-called digital era, which has brought to you much progress, especially in automatization of tasks. That is the kind of progress that will develop faster and faster in your world. Science will anchor technology and will push it to levels never dreamed of by your generation. However, technological progress without the corresponding social and spiritual progress it is too dangerous for your world. The ideal is that the less time human beings dedicate to labor, the more time they will apply to perfect their social and spiritual skills.

“Social Progress — Progress in this area is still slow in your world due to the great differences in economic, cultural and religious aspects of diverse nations on Urantia. Intolerance, prejudice, fear and mutual suspicions are the basic causes of these differences. Developed nations must reach the poor ones to improve their way of life by helping with basic infra-structure, education, and health. Poor and developing nations must learn to improve their government by choosing leaders that have the best of the public interest at heart — not demagogs — besides rejecting tyrannic views and interests. Furthermore, increasing global interactions in commerce, education, and sports should be perfected, as they will help you to discover the common denominator as the human race. That is, you are all brothers and sisters in one human family.

“Spiritual Progress — Although great spiritual advance has come to your world after the Bestowal of Christ Michael, Urantia still misses an encompassing cosmic view of spirituality. Only recently with the arrival of the Urantia Papers on your world, this kind of spirituality has begun to function, however, still in a very small way. Social events certainly can contribute to the retrogression of spirituality in your civilization. Religion must become a global affair, so it can effectively unite people of diverse faith viewpoints. There is no chance for spirituality to develop while the individual does not gain a true insight of the Universal Father by faith and practice of the universal values of goodness, truth, and beauty (harmony).

“Therefore, my pupil, your aspirations for a better Urantia, is not at all baseless. That is also the purpose of the Gods and most directly of Michael, who, to guarantee these advances to all worlds of Nebadon, did incarnate on your world as Jesus of Nazareth. Do not worry, your world carries the badge of being the home of the Sovereign of Nebadon, and it certainly will be enlightened to inherit all the material, social and spiritual progress that such a world will develop. Your personal aspirations, if of spiritual value, will also be fulfilled, if not there on Urantia, certainly here in the celestial realms. Beatrice: “Some dear friend blew in my ear and suggested that you have been talking about me. As it so happens, I am still on Mansonia One and I have spoken to many about the 11:11 Progress Group and the new position of importance my extended (midwayer) family is at last deservingly attaining. Also I have spoken to members of your extended family who have moved on from Urantia and the only real message I am allowed to pass on is that you are loved.

“For some centuries we undertook not to leave our home, our planet, and the outer edges of the stratosphere became our limit. Our work was here and there was no time for day trips even. Whilst the 873 were on their prison world, it seemed only fair for us, the 1,111, to also be limited in our movements. That is not the case today, however, and I now temporarily reside on Mansonia One to teach about free will and rare times of crisis during which human free will may be overturned.

“In my instance — in my work with Dante Alighieri on the Comedia — there was no intervention aimed at a single individual, no. The sage was only too willing to work in close liaison with me, just as you worked with my younger brother (ABC-22). And the paradise-ordered intervention was an effort to awaken the masses of the Roman Church to consider their evil doings and their utterly lost spirituality in the meaningless religious rituals of that time.

“To intervene by order of ‘the Heavens’ with anyone individual, as I explained, was not the case with my work of intuiting Dante. However, as more and more power falls in the hands of a single person, such might become the rule, rather than the exception.

“Here on Mansonia One, a lot of former humans hardly acknowledge the free will they once possessed and in fact still have right now. Many are of the opinion that they lacked opportunity — that opportunity was denied them. I am here to teach them that they are correct — only in the rarest of exceptional cases. Yes, I am conducting a series of lectures.

“Our planet of birth is not an ordinary rock in space, my friend. It is one of the most diverse spheres in the sector. It is also lagging in spiritual progress, ignorant of historical events and often taking one step forward and taking two steps back in matters of rational and spiritual import. In an atmosphere like that many mortals live out their lives in ignorance of what might be the most important task to engage in whilst in the mortal habiliments — soul growth.

“Those who hail from our sister planets tend to entirely skip the first or even the second of the Mansion Worlds. The open-eyed arrivals from Urantia will generally stay here for quite a time … actually finding out at last just where they had been.

“This is Beatrice, the one who gives the best hugs. Till we meet up again, I’ll hold you all dear in my heart.”

Athena: “… some years since we spoke, but I thank you for picking up on my prompt. I thank your Midwayer and Angel friends for taking in all I want to say, for as you are hearing these words, I will already be back at my task. I am Athena, a Celestial Artisan, a pre-fusion Teacher to any of the receivers of the 11:11 Progress Group as are Samuel, Aaron, the Mentori and others.

“It is known to you that I am deserving of being fused with my Thought Adjuster, yet for a season we have more to offer, as still independent children of the Creator-Father than would be the case if we were already fused. The curriculum for fused personalities is such that it first of all leaves less time for teaching and secondly is often irrelevant to current humans’ need to know. As well, to teach humans from a yet higher status would require a greater ‘string’ of intermediaries and we would likely not relate quite as well.

“Even so, here on Mansonia Seven, a person’s involvement with the arts has a great record of furthering one’s problem-solving capacity for all future times. It is not a guarded secret that terrestrial and Mansion World life engenders the pinpointing of specific difficulties and the discovery of appropriate solutions. We — humans and former humans — have much for which to be grateful.

“There is also no secret in the one-time suggested and later confirmed fact that we, who make use of the from-the-ground-up spiritual education we receive, will play greater and essential roles in the now-forming universes of deep space. The hierarchies exising in the seven super-universes will not reign in deep space as you know them here and now. There will be a greater content of Sons of God who have had terrestrial life at their starting points. Yes, humans, Midwayers and also the to-you-still unfamiliar Transcendentalers and some Angels.

“Compere, if you will, the age-long service provided by both Melchizedeks and Life Carriers. Consider their faultless performances during untold millennia. And then, as it finally suits you as a population to consent to Light and Life, they may finally fuse with the Thought Adjusters that were to be theirs, finally, as if waiting forever, millennia upon millennia.

“We have much for which to be grateful. As God’s spoiled little children of human origin we need only to wake up to the fact that others matter and voila, we receive the greatest Gift the Creator-Father can bestow upon us — a Fragment of Himself to indwell us.

“May this new year, your 2016, be a grateful year for you all. Make it so. This is Athena, art teacher of myriad years.”

The Beloved: “Open your heart, soul, and mind still a little more each time you come to Me in the Silence. There is so much I wish to impart to your slowly dawning awareness of Me. This must wait until your faith and trust grows deeper through your experiencing My presence more often.

Blessed are they who would dare to believe in things unseen, for these things exceed in splendor, by far, the things that are seen with mortal eyes. It is impossible for Me to explain the beauties and the wonders of heaven, when you have not yet developed your inner eyes.

It is as useless as explaining the colors of the rainbow to a blind person, although, they can feel its shape when a half circle is drawn in their hands. Such is the difficulty I face when I try to convey deeper meanings and values to you because, My beloved, you are still wearing kindergarten shoes, while wanting university entrance.

Therefore, all these things need to await a greater spiritual maturation, which is fine, because on the mansion worlds time is reckoned in a different way as to how time is reckoned on earth.

Your first order of the day is to patiently learn to walk in your own little shoes, and to move forward. If I give you My 'big shoes to wear', you will fall and badly hurt yourself. The human psyche is very fragile, and needs to be dealt with in loving tenderness.

Human compassion and understanding are needed when you are dealing with the weaker, less developed, and at times, disturbed brothers, and sisters. Therefore, I urge you to gain a greater understanding in all such matters.

In this you bless yourself and others in ways, yet unknown on earth. Often, a compassionate loving look does more for an anxious and fearful heart, than does a lengthy speech about do's and don'ts.

Truly, the most helpful things in life are often the simplest ones, like an understanding willing ear, without a busy mind formulating the answers.

Just a compassionate touch or look will suffice when words are unnecessary and can instead create misunderstandings.”

It is the Holiday Season, a busy time full of wonder and joy for many people.

As 2023 draws to an end we would like to thank all our wonderful readers and subscribers who have shared Love’s Light this past year, thereby making our world a little bit better for someone else.

Thank you also to the members of the Progress Group who have worked so diligently… our contributors, receivers, translators, website managers, and IT Masters. George would say, “They are worth their weight in feathers.”

And finally, just a little side note… we will take a little break beginning December 18th, but will return refreshed and renewed on January 1st.
