Growing up under a parent who served in the Second World War offered its challenges to me. Discipline was the back of the hand. I may as well have been in boot camp.

I was a lazy no-good good-for-nothing because I liked to read rather than swim and golf and play tennis.

At this very moment, I’m in the midst of a most welcome and long-overdue breakthrough around my relationship with my Dad.

Until now I’ve always considered that I needed to love my Dad. Take him with me. Talk to him.

I could never “get” this. I didn’t feel love for my Dad. It was definitely a bridge too far.

And then, this morning, in the shower – out of reach of my computer! – I got it. I didn’t need to love my Dad. What I do best is to listen. I can listen to my Dad.

I’m not saying Dad talked. The words formed in my mind. And the pictures.

I saw a fireman in the hold of a merchant vessel in World War 2, sailing the Atlantic knowing full well that, if a torpedo hit, it’d be highly unlikely that anyone in the bowels of the ship would survive.

Dad was all about survival. And conspicuous survival was even better. I get why he was that way now.  “Look at me! I made it. Despite the odds. Despite no one believing in me.”

His Dad was violent with him.  He did a “storyboard” of his life once and one of the graphics was a frightened child saying, “What did I do now?” (See graphic above.) That said a lot.

His Dad finally kicked him out, probably as his own dad had done to Grandpa. (1) My Dad rode the rails, spent a night in jail, and then was back on the rails again. He worked his way up from what he probably considered to be nothing to owner of a company and moderately wealthy. He’d show his Dad that he was a worthy man, not like his youngest, the no-good good-for-nothing who just lay around reading books.

I did not want to be a father because the only movies I had in my head were movies of my own father. And who wanted to pass those along? I was determined to stop what Michael called “legacy behavior.” The way to do that was to not be a father.

Wow. I feel the first degree of release on this one – the truth will set you free. I’m still aware that there’s more holding in my solar plexus, my hara center.

Dad’s favorite sayings were things like “you have to keep your guard up. Never let your guard down. You can’t trust anyone,” etc.  Our family may as well have been on a wartime footing long, long after the war was over.

Yes, this is the appropriate way for me to handle this persistent vasana of father hatred. I have no trouble listening.  Probably when I hear more of his situation, the love may start to trickle.

Just a little. … Never let your guard down….

Time marches on and matters are still causing great concern for many countries who feel threatened by the happenings upon Earth. There is no sign of any let up but rather a move to take sides for their own protection. Peace seems far away and the war in the Ukraine seems to be escalating with the Russians pushing forwards.

We know that the West is reluctant to force the issue for the fear that they themselves will become more involved. It is a delicate situation calling for sensible actions that will not cause the war to spread. For our part we stand aside trying to influence the outcome so that a solution can be found that will eventually bring peace.

The effect of the world’s troubles seems to have spread far and wide causing many problems that are resulting in far more problems than first encountered, that along with the Earth changes is making survival very difficult. The Earth no longer functions as it should, making life intolerable for so many people with little hope of it returning to normal.

We observe all happenings and can see the most likely outcome that we try to avert, but we can only go so far so as to not to interfere with your freedom of choice. The voice of the people is muted and has little influence on those who would lead them into a world war. We mention these things not to scare people, who already fear the actions of those who lead their nations into unspeakable troubles.

We remind you that you are at the end of a period that still follows the old ways, whilst the new ways of living are coming in very quickly and “fighting“ for recognition. There is a battle for control of the Earth, and we are pleased to tell you that the Light will always eventually win.

Be assured that there are many forward-thinking people waiting in the wings, ready to come out and lead man forwards to a far greater future of peaceful cooperation. It must come as the old ways of working are no longer adequate for the new society that is coming.

These are times when there is a lot of sorting out to be done so that the way is cleared to allow the new to arise. It is hard to see it amongst all the turmoil taking place but it is there waiting its opportunity to be introduced.

So do not lose heart as the changes are coming that will see great steps forward leading to a new road to happiness. It has been planned for a very long time and nothing shall prevent it from appearing. It is your destiny and one you have fought for eons of time. Fortunately you have never given up hope for a brighter and happier future.

Your focus should be to spread harmony and send out feelings of happiness and love, as this will help lift people up when most are feeling low and worried about their future. If you get an opportunity tell them that in reality all is well and what a wonderful future beckons. If it can be achieved, these positive energies will help others you may meet. Your aura will be filled with them and they attract other souls to you who will feel them.

From time to time we mention that your mere presence can help uplift souls as you are mixing with them. So keep your vibrations as high as possible as they can be healing for people as they come into contact with them.

Negative energies abound at present and are sometimes used for witchcraft, but have no fear as your aura fully protects you. Some souls are so open that they have little or no protection against the negative energies, but you do by ensuring you keep your aura closed and shut at all times using your mind’s eye.

You can see aura’s by looking past the person, but it does take time and practice. Healers check your body in this way, and can see if it needs healing. You can help in this respect by mentally visualising your aura intact and nicely enclosing your body.

One that is very open is prone to letting in unwelcome energies that could cause you illness. Some souls are lifting their vibrations so much they are becoming natural healers using the power of thought. You too can do it, but it will take longer depending on how much you have developed. Your aura is your protection against unwelcome energies that could cause you illness, so it is advisable to mentally see it with your mind’s eye and see it intact.

Your power of thought can enable you to become a healer but experience is necessary to reach a level where it is possible. There are of course different levels of healing but like most things practise makes perfect. If you try it, realise that your “patient” can feel the energies moving into the aura so you can get confirmation of success. If you think of taking it up seriously join a healing group, so that your development can be monitored, [British] Spiritualists are a well-established group.

Understand that what you are experiencing now is necessary to clear old karma and evidence of the ways of those who use might and power to achieve their own aims. We can oversee what is happening now and will use that knowledge to move events in such a way that ultimately they work for the Light.

So in the immediate future events will result in a way that the dark Ones were not prepared for and unable to alter the outcome. Be assured that we continually assess what is happening on Earth and are ready to use our influence for your betterment.

You have been kept in the dark for so long that you have been denied advancements that would have given you a far better quality of life. However, advancements that have been held from you will greatly lift you up.

Yet the challenges you have faced have made you much stronger, and able to face whatever the dark Ones have done to keep you under their control. As we have often told you of late, your future is assured but meantime you have to bear the problems that currently assail you. But the good times are coming and nothing can stop them.

It may seem incredible but every soul on Earth at this time was aware of the future that they would have to experience. Naturally they agreed to have the experience and it is partly for clearance of karmic responsibilities. Times are very testing at present but every effort you put in will be well worth it, helping to raise your vibrations, and is essential if your life plan was to prepare yourself for Ascension. Your Guides are working with you and will ensure you are successful.

Matters upon Earth are quickly moving to a conclusion but it would appear that it will be a forced situation and not by choice, and that is understandable in view of the events that are taking place.

There is a degree of uncertainty as to what path to take to avoid a situation that might lead to an all-out war. Several issues are involved and any one could spark off a global war and we say this with no desire to frighten you, but the facts must be faced. We for our part stand aside with no desire to interfere, but can spread ideas around that could lead to a more desirable outcome.

Whatever the outcome we will be closely watching events and doing our best to influence those involved to bring about peaceful solutions. However, sometimes matters must be left to allow things to follow their own path. Whatever way events work out our presence will ensure matters do not get out of hand. Indeed we will control the energies so that the outcome is following a direction that can be used to change the outcome to a more acceptable conclusion.

So much karma is being worked out and many souls on Earth at this time are creating opportunities that will advance matters for a much better outcome. There is always hope regardless of the attempts of the dark Ones to keep people down, and deny them their rightful place in the Light. The battle is indeed between the dark and the Light whatever shape or form it takes. At present the Earth is in turmoil and it is surely difficult to see which direction it is going in. But there is always light at the end of the tunnel and it will grow stronger as the dark Ones are prevented from succeeding with their plan to imprison the people of Earth.

Those of you who are working for the Light are to be commended for your determination to ensure that the dark Ones will not succeed in their attempts to embroil the whole Earth in a pointless war that has already resulted in the deaths of so many souls. When will Man ever learn that violence gets you nowhere at all, and only sets back your evolution by many years. However, since the end of the Age gets closer and closer if must be apparent that it will bring about major changes that will leave the old behind that has no place in the higher vibrations.

You have been working towards the New Age for a long time and given every chance to rise up and even now you could do so. Clearly all souls upon the Earth at this time are benefitting from their experiences in spite of the problems caused by the dark Ones. It must seem very difficult to make sense of what is taking place, but be assured that there is a plan that will lead to a victory for the Light. It was foreseen and anticipated eons of time ago and it will give much joy and happiness to those who will have earned their victory.

Most Humans are very resilient and once they have a target in their sight they are usually single minded in their intention to succeed. Most of you are very experienced in facing challenges and have every faith in your ability to overcome whatever problems you meet. It is why we cheer you on knowing that you have faith in yourselves. You have little idea of your past adventures but do at times experience a certain feeling that you have led many lives. They have given you the faith you have in your own ability to tackle any problems that confront you, and indeed with your experience you can.

What surprises await you when you ascend as you will find it far more exciting than you imagined and enjoy the peaceful feeling, after living a lot of your life fearing events taking place around you. You are blessed to be a masterly at all things and a whole vista of opportunity will open up before you. Life on Earth is in no way like the one that you are soon to enjoy, and it will be far beyond your expectations. Perhaps you would find meeting “old” friends again very exciting, and especially family members who you have fond memories for from your own experiences.

Bear in mind that little of what you have become familiar with over your many lives will serve you much longer and gradually slip into the background. The lessons you came to learn have done their work, and you will carry the benefits with you into the higher dimensions that you are entering. Be assured nothing of value is left behind that can help serve your needs although you never stop learning. Your progress is carefully planned so that it is appropriate for your continued advancement.

Your power of thought is continually growing and some of you will have already experienced unusual occurrences in this connection. For example it is the premonition that someone is about to contact and it could be by telephone, in general it is having a premonition of something you feel is about to happen.

On a wider scale it could be a world event such as an earthquake, or major happening that you had no knowledge of beforehand. These are minor events to what you could eventually experience. You surely must realise that you are in reality a very powerful Being and for the purpose of each incarnation you only carry those experiences that serve a purpose for that lifetime.

Keep an open mind so that you do not miss out where information may help you in your quest for knowledge. Try to avoid obstructive and misleading information because the dark Ones are forever trying to mislead you. Obviously your Guides will have a hand in linking you with the right contacts so that you can continue evolving

In a useful manner. There is too much negative news placed upon you through newspapers and T.V. and you could be forgiven for being misled by them. If something doesn’t seem right it is possibly correct and you are best advised to set it aside until you can be sure about it.

The most exciting experiences in the future for most people will be to meet those Dear Ones who have dropped their vibrations to help you evolve, and have followed your spiritual growth for a very long time. They serve you as they also have been served and know exactly what will help you succeed in your efforts to rise up. This type of response is typical of the help that is given you. You have so much to look forward to and it is why we give you every encouragement to stay firmly on the path given you that will help your continual progress.

White House Issues Unprecedented Pardons after FDA Finds Cannabis to be More like Tylenol than Heroin

On Friday, January 20th, the federal government waved the white flag in the war on drugs as it regards the cannabis plant.

President Biden issued presidential pardons to any American or lawful permanent resident who has a conviction of cannabis possession on their record.

At the same time, he ordered the Dept. of Health and Human Services to compile a case for the reclassifying of cannabis from a Schedule 1 drug, such as heroin and cocaine, to a Schedule 3 drug, like testosterone and fortified Tylenol.

Decades of advocacy have created a national picture where 38 states have legalized cannabis for medicinal use, and 24 states, two territories, and D.C. have legalized cannabis for recreational use.

The United States FDA Controlled Substance Staff writes in the HHS report that their agency is recommending the rescheduling of cannabis as it meets all three criteria for doing so, namely a lower potential for abuse compared to Schedule 2 substances, an existing and established medical use, and a lower psycho-physical dependency potential.

“The marijuana withdrawal syndrome appears to be relatively mild compared to the withdrawal syndrome associated with alcohol, which can include more serious symptoms such as agitation, paranoia, seizures, and even death,” writes the FDA, which added that while there are many unproven claims about the medicinal use of cannabis, there is “credible” scientific evidence for its use in reducing the side effects of chemotherapy.

Sweeping changes would take place if such a rescheduling would occur, which will ultimately be decided by the Drug Enforcement Agency.

The already multi-billion dollar cannabis industry would benefit from a much safer banking and tax environment, hundreds of thousands of people, particularly young adults, wouldn’t be turned into criminals by choosing to use a largely harmless substance for recreation, and people—particularly veterans—who live in states where recreational and medicinal cannabis is not available could obtain it safely.

Relating to the Presidential Pardon, Biden announced the war on drugs had failed, and that it was time to “right these wrongs”.

Anyone who has a possession charge of cannabis, which may be impeding employment or housing opportunities, can apply for a certificate that shows they have been pardoned, and the conviction is off their record, at Justice.gov here.

“Criminal records for marijuana use and possession have imposed needless barriers to employment, housing, and educational opportunities. Too many lives have been upended because of our failed approach to marijuana. It’s time that we right these wrongs,” Biden said.

This does not apply to use [those?] imprisoned or convicted of selling cannabis.

A Gallup poll conducted in October 2023 found that 70% of Americans believe cannabis should be completely legalized in all its forms.
