Being Human is designed for Endless Growth and Expansion

Being Human is designed for Endless Growth and Expansion

Being human is an experience designed for endless growth and expansion — through all the trials, tribulations, and joyful moments in between. Yet, we often become stuck in the memory of difficulties and discomfort, unconsciously sidestepping experiences that could break this chain of fear.

We often deny that we are living in fear, but chronic fear keeps us trapped in survival mode. Elevated cortisol levels are continually released in the brain, while the neurotransmitter GABA — which plays a crucial role in calming the nervous system — is minimally released. GABA serves to bring us back from stress, preventing overstimulation and overexcitation in the brain. This imbalance directly impacts the entire body.

The challenge lies in our lack of awareness of the many ways we affect our own health by imposing restrictions, limitations, and resistance to growth simply because it feels uncomfortable. As masters of excuses, we skillfully present ourselves with justifications for avoiding change, especially when it involves stepping into the unknown or confronting past wounds. We are both the creators and perpetuators of much of our discomfort and depletion. There is no need for blame, shame, or guilt — only acknowledgment within ourselves.

Growth is essential. It requires experience, imagination, and the self-permission to be endlessly more. Yes, there are innumerable events occurring in our world, but how we process and internalize these energies will ultimately determine how we interact with or are affected by them. There’s no need to bury your head like an ostrich, but rather to become the observer — to observe your vulnerabilities and instead anchor yourself in your intuition and inner trust.

The world must be what it is — a wide-open field of experiences. All of it serves as a tool for learning, building inner strength, and developing resilience. This prepares you to step into a more elevated, or what I call a super-state of being. It’s difficult to step into this super-state if we remain afraid to let go and venture into uncharted territories of our grander selves. We are conditioned to the internal and external human battles that keep us at a distance from our natural state of existence — a state beyond the current time and space construct we have accepted as our reality.

Growth invites us into expanded states of consciousness often described as mystical. These potential states exist at our fingertips, but we can only access them when we free ourselves from outdated programming. We remain anchored to the safety of the familiar — conditioned by our perception of time and space. While the brain is not the ultimate decision-maker, it functions as a highly adaptive interface, an advanced biological transceiver. The mind — through thought and perception — becomes the navigator, determining how narrowly or expansively we filter reality and its endless possibilities.

Health and Its Role in Shifts in Consciousness
What does it mean to downplay the role of the body?
Many hold deep concerns for the health of their body while simultaneously clinging to limited beliefs about its potential. We are exposed daily to mixed messages about our biology. Despite the vast resources spent to maintain it, we often rely on disconnected, superficial methods that fail to penetrate the deeper beliefs and emotional layers influencing our physiology.

The human body is an experiential vessel through which we engage this life, while concurrently experiencing both distance and closeness to the infinite substance of life to which we remain eternally connected. It is not uncommon for highly enlightened individuals — often highlighted within spiritual movements — to experience severe illness and even premature death. This is because the body stores unprocessed experiences and inherited patterns that often remain unaddressed by the conscious mind.

Our bodies often seem uncontrollable, as if governed by forces beyond our reach. This sense of powerlessness puts us in a state of surrender to externalized influences. However, the body is in fact a key interface — one that operates much like a biological transistor or semiconductor, modulating, amplifying, and transmitting information at cellular, molecular, and energetic levels. We are conditioned to perceive the body as a limited, one-way system — processing input only within a narrow window of our current understanding.

The truth is: the body is far more plastic and adaptive than we allow it to be. Neuroplasticity, epigenetics, and psychoneuroimmunology increasingly reveal the extent to which belief systems, perceptions, and emotions reshape both brain and body. Studies in epigenetics (Lipton, 2005; The Biology of Belief) demonstrate that gene expression can be altered by thought, environment, and perception, suggesting that biology is far less fixed than once believed.

The science is already within us, yet it is filtered and suppressed by consistent programming that shapes our behavior, health, and perception of possibility. This outdated operating system can indeed be interrupted — but because we have been conditioned to fear ourselves, to fear time, and to fear the unknown, the mind and body reflexively resist such shifts.

Science will increasingly support the understanding that we are running outdated biological software. This systemic shakeup we are witnessing — from politics to technology — reflects a deeper evolutionary shift. The operating system of consciousness itself must be upgraded for us to move beyond previously set time restrictions and access dormant capacities within the brain.
Interestingly, theoretical work in quantum field theory and emerging models in biophysics suggest that even physical reality — including matter itself — may emerge from informational fields and hydrogen-based structures at subatomic levels (Hameroff & Penrose, Orch-OR theory; Vitiello, Quantum Brain Dynamics). Ancient texts describing yogic masters manifesting objects may find some distant scientific kinship in such emerging theories of matter formation from energetic fields.

Ultimately, the choice remains yours. You are far more than you have been conditioned to believe. The moment you give yourself permission, the mind and body will follow — recalibrating to support your expansion.
