This may not be pleasant, but it is necessary and also very useful, as it will allow you to face these feelings with greater clarity and overcome them. This is part of the ‘price’ that must be paid by those who venture on the path toward perfection.

Although unfounded optimism can be dangerous, it would be beneficial for you to cultivate an attitude of hope and confidence in the face of challenges. Your fears are unfounded and completely within your control. It is you who decides how to feel about the things that happen to you. A failure — or even a success — will not affect you unless you decide it will.

Human beings, throughout their journey toward the Father, will face challenges and uncertainties repeatedly. This is a natural process in a creature who is progressively opening to more expansive and elevated realities. There is much in the universe that now seems like a great dark abyss due to your ignorance and the limitations of your current material state. This will not always be the case, but you must constantly leave behind what you consider safe and familiar to seek what you haven’t even imagined yet, relying solely on the assurance of your Father’s guidance and care.

Wouldn’t it be wise to adopt this exploratory attitude and sense of adventure while you live here in this world? Surely, this is the only way you will explore new opportunities and discover hidden potentials within yourself. You cannot grow if you limit yourself to what you currently know. That is why the Father is pleased to see His children explore and grow in the universe, for in doing so, they prepare themselves to fulfill their eternal purpose. The opportunities you pursue in this world are not as important as cultivating a spirit of exploration and the desire to strive to be better, — more like your Heavenly Father and more useful to the entire creation.”

Thought Adjuster: “In the life of human beings, truth can only be learned through experience. Any truth that has not been ‘lived’ is merely theoretical knowledge for a person. Only when one has personally felt the importance of something do values acquire meaning. This is why it is so important in human life to maintain an open mind and always have the attitude of a student, for life is the inexhaustible source of experiences that progressively illuminates the emerging spirit of human beings.

The classic example of the value of experience is the progressive understanding of love. A human being will never be able to comprehend the love of the Father if they have not first loved another being during their life. This understanding of love will be progressively illuminated depending on each person's willingness to learn and give their best. A child first discovers love for their parents. Later, when they reach the appropriate age, they may find in romantic love an additional dimension that illuminates their idea of love. Later, when becoming the father or mother of another human being, their understanding of love acquires an even deeper level of meaning, drawing them closer to the love that God the Father feels for all His creatures. The achievement of this knowledge is only possible through life experience and requires natural time to develop. Wise men and women learn very early the value of ‘giving time to time’ when it comes to learning in life.

There is no magical technique that can accelerate the process of understanding eternal truths; only experience grants spiritual wisdom. It is not possible to speed up this process, but it can be made much easier depending on your desire to live according to the Father's will, which is nothing more than learning the lessons that life offers us — the life He has given us to become increasingly perfect and complete beings. If you learn to consider and live your life in this way — as a path to receiving increasingly complete revelations of spiritual truths while acquiring wisdom and progressively perfecting yourself — life becomes an adventure, a journey of exploration where there are unexplored wonders around every corner, available only to those who have developed the necessary curiosity to pay attention and enjoy them.

The best part is that a stimulating life, full of real and lasting satisfactions, can be lived anywhere. A ‘well-lived’ life does not depend on external circumstances, personal or material resources, the time period, culture, or the level of civilization. Living a life full of learning moments that promote healthy spiritual progress depends solely on each individual. It is the human desire to know the Father, to understand His reality and the creation in which we dwell, that opens the doors to receiving God's blessings, which have always been available to all men and women who embark on the adventure of achieving perfection. Truly, there is no more important task nor more glorious endeavor than that of a human being who seeks and eventually manifests their true spiritual self.”

Thought Adjuster: “Spiritual contemplation—your effort to draw closer to God—produces many positive results in human life, as it leads to the attainment of the fruits of the Spirit. These fruits are what add the most value, satisfaction, happiness, and peace to human life, both for the individual and for everyone else. Every person gained for the Kingdom—the divine plan—becomes another source of love and kindness for all creation.

However, always remember to maintain balance. Spending the entire day absorbed in spiritual speculations or detached from your immediate reality is not advisable. A person needs to interact with their environment, face their circumstances, solve their problems, and relate to others—in short, to live their life. It is good to dedicate time each day to remembering your eternal goal and cultivating an ever-closer relationship with your Father in heaven, through your Adjuster, but always keep in mind that you will not learn about goodness unless you practice it with your fellow beings.

This is the great mistake of hermits. Certainly, there are times when a person must withdraw from everything to commune more fully with their Inner Master, but once these needs have been met, each one must return to the loving service of others and the co-creative work of manifesting the Father's will. Even when you have attained God's presence and stand before Him in Paradise, at some point, you must continue your journey of eternal service.

The Father does not intend to take over your mind and selfishly demand all of your attention. You are free to use your mind for other things, preferably to improve your life and the lives of those around you in this world. With a bit of wisdom and by staying connected to divine guidance, you will know how to accomplish ever greater and more beautiful things for the glory of the Father and the well-being of others (as well as your own).

The Father does not ask His children to abandon themselves to help others. There is no benefit in relieving another’s suffering if your suffering is left unaddressed. There is no point in promoting the spiritual growth of your brothers and sisters if you forget your own. Only when a person has experienced a bit of God’s love and has begun to love themselves can they truly begin to love others, with a dynamic and wise love. How could you solve the problems of others if you have not first solved your own?

The Father's intention for the lives of His mortal children is that they be full lives, rich in character-building experiences, and filled with satisfaction, joy, and peace. Do what you can to find the fruits of the spirit in your life through the decisions of your mind, and you will be better prepared to serve others.”

It is in the mind where decisions are made, giving rise to each person's actions. It is in the mind where the actions that determine the reality of its bearer begin. It should not be too difficult to realize that the situation you find yourself in today has been largely influenced by the decisions and actions you took in the past.

Those who feel the desire to find God and begin the journey of eternal perfection need to make this decision in their minds and keep alive the desire to become better and better. This is how, step by step, with each moment and through each decision, you move a little closer to the eternal goal. This is how, through your desires and intentions, you open yourself more and more to the spiritual influences that seek to give you everything you need to achieve spiritual success. This is how you draw ever closer to your Inner Master—the presence of God within you—aligning your will more and more with the will of the Father.

It is through the creations you make in your mind that you become the architect of your own salvation, for it is only through decisions that human beings discover their true purpose and draw closer to their Heavenly Father. Make sure to use your mind for higher purposes—those that manifest wisdom in progress and a growing, unconditional love for your fellow beings—and do not waste this great resource on anxieties, worries, or useless fears. Your time is limited, and every second you dedicate to independent thought, seeking the guidance of your Inner Master, represents one more step in the direction of the eternal goal. Will you take steps forward today, or will you remain stagnant in the uncertainty of your own illusions?”

You must know that the only thing you need to do is to direct your attention toward the Father to find Him, for He already dwells within you. This generation is far too distracted by overly demanding jobs, the pursuit of goals that do not bring true happiness, and an endless array of gadgets and forms of entertainment. All of this has left very little time for reflection and contemplation.

Just a few minutes alone, focusing your attention on the higher realms of your mind—where the spirit works—is all that every human being needs to find direction and channel their efforts toward goals of eternal value. This is a subtle effort of the human will that is always met by the Father through the Adjuster. Any sincere effort by man to draw closer to God is more than reciprocated by the Father in His effort to draw closer to man. All that is needed is an expression of human will—the longing to find God.

After practicing this approach consistently for a while, the soul awakens to the desire to be better, to become increasingly like the Father—what the Master referred to as hunger for truth and thirst for righteousness. This longing is evidence of man’s approach to God, for the human soul cannot desire something it does not know. It is only through the revelation of the Father’s nature in a person’s experience that the desire to emulate His attributes becomes present.

If at any point you have felt the desire to transcend what you currently are to become something much better, if you have harbored within yourself the longing to express to others and yourself a higher and more beautiful version of your being—a vision of yourself that you can barely perceive—this is a sign that your soul is responding to the call of the ages and that within you, the Father has planted the seed of truth. Through your care and effort, this seed will grow into the fruits of the spirit, transforming you into what the Father intended to manifest through your existence.”

Thought Adjuster: “The mistakes of the past hold no weight when it comes to determining your eternal destiny. Regret over decisions made hastily serves no purpose. There is only one thing you can do about it: try not to make the same mistake again. Human beings would remove a great obstacle to their spiritual progress if they learned to forgive themselves more easily.

Forgiving yourself is not a license to sin or a concession to wrongdoing. Forgiving yourself is an experience of someone who has begun to know the Father and accepts the limitations of their own view of reality. Once this understanding of the Father’s nature is revealed in human life, forgiveness for others and yourself lightens the burdens of human existence.

Mistakes are simply necessary experiences for growing in wisdom and learning to align your will with the divine will. Only then does man come to truly know himself by repeatedly confronting his own fallibility. But it is also in this way that divine mercy manifests in human life, offering definitive proof of God’s unconditional love for all His creatures.

What you have done in the past only has meaning if it has helped you draw closer to the Father and to the expression of your higher nature. Learn from past mistakes and live your life with hope and joy, for the doors of eternity have never closed, and God has never

Thought Adjuster: “The free association of thoughts, when you let your mind produce ideas without censorship or control, can provide new insights and occasionally connect you to ideas placed in your mind by the Thought Adjuster. This process of spontaneous thinking can be used by the Adjuster to spiritualize the human being.

The problem is that human minds in this age are overwhelmed by too many artificial distractions: electronic devices, advertisements, etc. These distractions often condition the mind to think in certain ways and to give preference to certain types of thoughts. For example, someone who watches a lot of television and has spent countless hours following the latest trending show will likely produce related thoughts. These "spontaneous" thoughts lack almost any creative potential and, in reality, add no value to human life.

On the other hand, life’s circumstances can often affect the more sensitive minds and fill them with fear. When a human mind is dominated by fear, it only produces thoughts of that nature — anxieties, worries, uncertainty about what might happen, fantasies about problems that will never come to pass, and so on. These thoughts will not produce anything beneficial in the life of a human being either.

A human being needs to train their mind and learn to master it. This is only possible through the effort of self-observation. Everyone can observe their mind and become aware of the thoughts it contains. It is then that a mortal can exercise their greatest freedom and decide what kind of thoughts to keep in their mind and which ones to discard, thereby creating their own reality.

This is where meditation can help significantly. Silent meditation involves calming the mind, observing thoughts, and whenever the mind drifts in a direction incompatible with the individual’s highest aspirations, gently guiding it toward more beneficial paths. True mental control does not mean having an empty mind free of thoughts but rather ensuring that the mind is filled with thoughts of eternal value — those with the potential to enhance the individual’s life, draw them closer to the Father, and move them toward perfection.

Jesus was a true Master of controlling His mortal mind. When He spoke with His Father, He did not attempt to silence His thoughts. The human mind was made to think, and through intelligent reflection illuminated by the spirit, it can solve problems and choose the path toward perfection. Jesus surrendered to the spiritual guidance of His Adjuster just as any human being on this world can do. In doing so, He sought to direct His thoughts through the highest realms of His consciousness, where the influence of the Father is felt in human life.

Practice silent meditation and train your mind to carefully choose the thoughts it holds. Then ask the Father for help and use this mind to produce truly creative thoughts — those filled with truth, beauty, and goodness — that will enable you to make decisions leading to eternity and the perfection of your being through your will united with the will of your Father.”

Thought Adjuster: “The river normally follows the course that is the most effortless in reaching the sea. The rivers’ courses are sculpted in rock for millions of years for the simple reason that the river always runs through the same path because it is the most efficient route to get to the sea. Imagine the sea to represent perfection; the very goal of evolution and the river to embody evolution itself. If you — a small fish in that big river — wanting to, as does the river, reach the same goal — the perfect sea — the best course of action would be to let yourself be carried by the current.

“The current represents the will of God. However, even when you let yourself be carried by the current you can always make adjustments and select some river bends to explore. You can move slower and appreciate every rock on your path and get to know every other fish that may come close to you. Or you may throw yourself completely into the adventure of reaching the goal. The way in which you reach the sea is irrelevant — the only important thing is that you reach it.

“Also, you are free to swim against the current, if you want to, and like a salmon you could try to get to the top of the mountain. This will be a great effort, since swimming against the current is difficult, and once you reach any place that is not the sea you will realize it wasn’t worth it. Then you will have to decide if you will start the journey again or quit. You can choose to leave the river, and as it happens to all fishes out of the water, you will die. This doesn’t mean that the river is punishing you. It will just be the result of your decision in trying to live, whilst depriving yourself of the source of your life.

“As you can see in this analogy all efforts that take advantage of the current enjoy a great momentum, leading you to the sea with remarkable ease. All co-creative contributions in harmony with the will of God will always have much help, always enjoy success and contribute to bring you closer to the final goal — perfection. All co-creative efforts are also gifts to the universe and for all, because these are expressions of God, expressions of love, truth, beauty and goodness. Therefore they are helping all by providing additional impulses to reach the goal of the ages.”

This is true for every level a human being traverses on their journey to Paradise. Here, in the material world, the preparation begins for a creature to function effectively on the next level.

For human beings, it is very useful to imagine a bit of what is expected of them in the worlds to come. This could help them better establish plans for their life and more effectively focus their efforts on spiritual progress. Let us consider for a moment what life is like in the mansion worlds.

In the mansion worlds, people do not work to earn a living, obtain material rewards, or receive recognition from their peers. Work there is a means of expressing the best of oneself, a resource used to manifest the Father's will through individual and cooperative efforts. Work in morontia is an effort to make reality increasingly resemble what the Father's infinite wisdom has intended to project on that level of existence.

At the next level, no human being lives for themselves. All personalities fulfill a function and have a purpose. Everything that is done is to manifest the greater good for all beings of creation. There, you progress through your efforts and your ability to work with others, learning to align your desires with the Creators' plans. In this way, you discover an additional dimension of living the Father's will, becoming an active participant in His plans for the evolution of the universe, while you grow spiritually through your efforts.

In the mansion worlds, the value of a person is not estimated by what they do, the importance of their position, or the number of subordinates under their charge. The value of all life has been clearly established by the unconditional love that the Universal Father offers to all His creatures. In morontia, what a person is—how close they have come to living the divine will, the degree to which they have mastered the technique of loving their fellows as the Father Himself loves—is more important. Yet, what truly stimulates spiritual progress and advancement toward perfection is what each person desires to be—the longing to become increasingly like God.

This is just a glimpse of the life you will live in the worlds to come, but it offers a clear perspective on the things you can begin learning now, here in this world. This morontia life that has been described can be lived starting now in this material world, better preparing yourself for the next level of your existence and becoming more useful to the entire creation.”

Thought Adjuster: “The Father is not an authoritarian ruler who decrees His will for His subjects to follow. The Father’s will is a plan that unfolds throughout human life and is revealed to a creature as that creature grows spiritually and becomes receptive to the influence of the spirit. For this reason, the Father’s will does not remain shrouded in mystery in the lives of those who truly desire to know it.

How can a human being discover and begin to live the Father’s will? The Father will never say, ‘Do this, don’t do that.’ That would go against your right to free choice. The Father does not expect you to blindly accept that His way is the best. Life has been designed so that you have abundant opportunities to explore and experience. All paths are open before you, and you have complete freedom to choose any of them.

Through your choices, you develop the wisdom to make better decisions. Only by facing the consequences of your mistakes do you realize that perhaps a decision was not the right one. The long journey of mortal progression toward perfection represents your attempt to explore all alternatives, and this unimaginably long experience will offer you the wisdom to choose the best path in every situation. Then you will discover that the best choice you could make for yourself is the same as what the Father has planned for you.

The journey toward perfection is one of discovering the Father’s path—the path of greatest love—and fully accepting it within yourself as your path. When you choose God’s will from the perspective of a perfected creature, you will do so with complete certainty that it is the best thing that could happen to you, knowing it is also the path that brings the greatest benefits to all creation, to all other beings in all universes.

When you choose the Father’s will through wisdom inspired by the spirit and enlightened by your experience, you make His will your own will. You will not simply be obeying the laws of a universal monarch; rather, you will be following the path you have discovered through your efforts to become increasingly perfect. Then, there will be no difference between the will of the creature and the Creator. What the Father has ordained in His infinite wisdom and absolute foreknowledge will be the same as what you will discover through your progressive perfection. At that point, creatures will no longer speak of doing their own will, but rather ‘our’ will—the unified will of all who strive with God to co-create and bring His plans and intentions to reality.”

Thought Adjuster: “The current economy in this world seems to be designed to keep human beings dependent and distracted in a continuous effort to satisfy imaginary needs—needs, promoted by the media to sell some product or service. In advanced worlds, the work required to sustain the planet is brief—one or two hours a day per person. However, the work of promoting constant intellectual and spiritual progress, and truly elevating civilization occupies the time of men and women in the advanced ages of light and life. Compare this way of life to that of those who earn large sums of money by promoting and selling things that add no real value to human life, working just enough each day and wasting the rest of their time on activities that do not contribute to their own well-being.

Wealth is a mirage, an illusion. Those who lack money imagine that having it will make their lives better. Those who cannot buy everything they desire, believe that being able to do so will fill the emptiness they feel inside. This is a fallacy, and many who have managed to achieve their material goals find that their emptiness remains unfilled and that they have wasted their time striving for something that did not bring happiness into their lives.

This is how most people in this world set their own goals—imagining fictional situations where everything is magically better. It is like leaving home and insisting on traveling to an unknown place, driven only by the illusion that things will be better there. Many people today leave their homes to move to other regions where they imagine they will have a better life, guided only by appearances. Often those who have done this end up drastically reducing their standard of living, their health, and their well-being, all under the pretext of an apparent financial advantage. Some have their physical needs met—home, food, family—yet abandon all of this in pursuit of things they neither need nor that bring them true happiness—fashionable clothing, new cars, material appearances.

This is where independent thinking becomes essential allowing them to avoid falling into the slavery of their material ego’s desires or the false needs with which society constantly bombards them. It is time for the men and women of Urantia to awaken to the reality of their life's purpose. You have not come here to exploit the planet’s resources for your own selfish benefit. Rather, this world is your home and the school where you will learn the lessons that will later serve you in your eternal quest. Your life can be full—rich with joy and experiences of spiritual growth—if you do not allow yourselves to be distracted by the lies and illusions that you yourselves have imposed upon your existence.”

Even your mind functions better when it has found equilibrium. Relaxing the mind is undoubtedly a very beneficial activity for recharging energy and fostering spiritual communion. However, a little stress from time to time, a challenge, or a problem that stimulates decision-making ability always provides the ground that favors the exercise of human free will illuminated by the spirit.

Such is life in this world—always in constant flow, always changing, always in motion. Life offers the necessary conditions so that all human beings, in one way or another, are motivated to search within themselves and ask the questions that will lead them to consider transcendental and eternal matters. Your life as a human being in this world has been prepared as an avenue that you can use for self-discovery and the attainment of self-mastery—the growing dominance of the spiritual mind over the material mind.

Even accidents and unforeseen events, products of the partiality of time and space, can serve to make you more spiritual, more real, bringing you closer to the Father and His desire for you to be perfect, just as He is. Everything depends on how you react to the situations that arise in your life and the extent to which you choose the Father’s will—the path of greater love—over the desires and false needs of your material ego.

This is how a human being, when facing the uncertainties of material life, can truly become the master of their destiny and the architect of their salvation. It is in your mind that you can construct your reality and aspire to the highest achievement of all life in all creation—likeness to God. Let your mind become creative by allowing it to follow the guidance of your Inner Master—the presence of God within you—so that, through your efforts and divine guidance, you may create, with the help of your Father in heaven, a new being—an original and unique combination of God and man. This being will serve as a representative of the Father for the entire creation, embarking on an eternal journey of self-discovery and ever more complete revelations of the nature of God.”

Material endeavors can be summarized as those things where the main intention is ‘what is in it for me.’ Truly spiritual things are expressed with the approach of ‘what can I do for my fellow beings.’ Spiritual manifestations represent a shift in the creature’s perspective, from egocentrism to a growing, dynamic, and intelligent philanthropy.

All the tasks you decide to undertake with the focus of doing something for others, improving the world, and helping others enjoy the same blessings that have been bestowed upon you are expressions of the unconditional love that seeks to manifest through your being. This is how you become an agent of the Father, a representative of God before your brothers and sisters, doing what the Father would do for them if He were in your place.

Even though these endeavors are always directed toward the well-being of your fellow beings—for the greater good—you will always receive benefits, even more abundantly than if you were to focus solely on your own well-being, because the benefits derived from expressing the Father's love go beyond this world, possess eternal value, and will remain with you even beyond this life. There may even be benefits you can begin to enjoy right now, such as deeper relationships with others, new and lasting friendships, and spiritual and mental peace.

You must be careful not to fall victim to the false expectations that your society and culture have created for many. You do not have to be a great philanthropist. You do not need to be the founder and director of a foundation to help others. You do not need to be the savior or leader who guides a city, state, or nation toward spirituality. These things are desirable and will bring many benefits, but here and now, focus on helping those around you. The danger of these expectations is that people may completely ignore what they mistakenly consider "small" things because they think they are not significant or sufficient.

If you are a father or mother, your children should be the first to receive the highest expressions of your loving service. If you are part of a family, a society, or any human group, the members of that group should be the ones to enjoy your expressions of unconditional love. Do not put conditions on the expression of your love—the love of the Father through you. Offer the best of yourself to everyone who crosses your path in life, and you will truly live a full and enriching life, filled with experiences that foster spiritual growth. In doing so, you will experience the true satisfaction of knowing deep within your being that you are living according to the Father's will, fulfilling the purpose for which you came into this world.”

Thought Adjuster: “Spiritual growth is like a child’s natural growth in this world. It is an organic process that does not need to be rushed. If a child lives a normal life, receives proper nutrition, and grows up in an environment fostered by the care and affection of their parents and siblings, the child will generally grow up healthy. Likewise, those human beings who yearn to know the truth and find God will grow spiritually in a natural way, for they will always have the care of their heavenly Father.

Just as a child’s growth can be affected by harmful external conditions—poor nutrition, accidents, illnesses—your spiritual growth can also be influenced by your environment, and above all, by your own decisions: what you choose to believe and your attitude toward discovering and accepting dynamic truths that are progressively revealed with greater depth in your life. For example, if you choose to limit your life to what a traditional and dogmatic religion demands of you, that will be your decision—no doubt influenced by the opinions of others whom you may consider your ‘superiors’ in the hierarchy of a particular religion—but ultimately, it is a personal choice.

At the other extreme, there is nothing you can do to speed up your spiritual growth. Truths must grow in human minds and hearts before they can be incorporated into each person’s life and thus become values they will carry to the higher worlds. This progressive revelation of truth requires time, so that the seed may mature within the human soul. There are no shortcuts or easier paths. Just as a child cannot begin to walk until their bones and muscles are ready to support their weight, a human being cannot begin to live a truth until they have learned it and incorporated it into their value system through real-life experience.

You can remove all the obstacles that currently prevent you from advancing and reaching ever higher levels of spiritual progress. People only get into trouble when they consciously or unconsciously choose to alter the natural progress of their spiritual growth. Often, perhaps without thinking, they choose to remain in their comfort zone without exploring beyond it, effectively limiting their progress. The best thing you can do today is to take advantage of the opportunities that present themselves daily to choose to be the best you can become, and to act in the way you imagine the Father would act if He were in your shoes. This is how your understanding of God becomes more and more complete, and how you become increasingly like Him. And that is, after all, the purpose of your existence.”

Perseverance is required to sustain positive efforts and spiritual orientation. Time offers the opportunity for the seeds of truth to germinate in hearts and for spiritual wisdom to spread throughout the world.

For many, it is difficult to see how personal and individual change contributes to elevating the spiritual level of your entire world. When a human being decides to open their mind and sincerely seek the truth, ‘the heavens open’ and everything that mind is capable of receiving and understanding is made available. From that moment onward, depending on the individual's interest and decisions, that mind will have everything needed to promote the growth of the soul, and spiritual fruits will begin to manifest in that life.

It is then, when the fruits of the spirit become evident in the lives of those who have established a relationship with their Father in heaven, that those around them somehow perceive the peace these individuals carry with them, sparking spiritual curiosity. The individual actions of those awakening spiritually always result in benefits for others, directly contributing to the spiritual upliftment of the world.

The best part of all this is that everyone can participate in the glorious endeavor of transforming this dark and backward world into a sphere of light and life. The primary task you must undertake is learning to know the will of the Father and expressing it through each of your lives in an original and unique way. Do you not see that a world filled with love is only possible when all the men and women of this world express love toward their fellow beings? Love will not fall from the sky but will be born in the individual hearts of each of you, and one day it will fill every corner of this world. Strive to be a little better each day, a little more like the Father, and your world will also become a little better every day.”

Thought Adjuster: “Many different methods of meditation have been created throughout the history of your world. From a modern perspective, meditation is a resource that allows human beings to achieve the natural mental state in which their mind functions most optimally. It is not about silencing thoughts, but is simply about being present, fully focused on the here and now, without mental or external distractions. Now, when meditation is done to listen to divine guidance and draw closer to the Father, it becomes worship.

Meditation is a path to connect with the Father and prepare yourself to receive His spiritual influence with all the resources of your mind. It is how, for a moment, you rise above your material limitations and transcend your mortal nature to connect with the eternal. Prayer is the expression of the longing of the human soul, while worshipful meditation is the fulfillment of these longings.

While meditation is a beneficial practice that should be done daily, you cannot spend the entire day meditating. Other activities are necessary so that your mind can integrate the truth received in the higher mind into your life. Notably, during sleep, your mind "digests" what it has received and prepares it to be accessible to the conscious personality. This is one of the tasks of your Thought Adjuster: to organize and spiritualize your thoughts while you sleep.

Various other activities of daily life are also very necessary. The truths revealed to each soul only become values when they are expressed in human experience. Just as one cannot truly understand parental love without being a parent to another human being, many truths and concepts that the Adjuster transmits to the human mind require real experience to become part of the personality.

Herein lies an aspect of the cooperation between God and man. God provides the guidance, the truths, and the spiritual influences that nourish human life. The human being provides the experience, the effort to live life striving to become more like God, taking the abstract truths found within and turning them into a reality manifested in creation through their decisions and actions. This is the work that the unique combination of God and man must fulfill in this world, fostering the moment when harmony is so complete and communication so direct that the two minds—the spiritual and the mortal—become one, creating a new being for eternity.”
